Job Description:
Terus Construction Company is looking for seasonal, hourly laborers to work on pavement and civil construction crews in Boreal Pacific Smithers, BC. From May through November, these employment should be regarded “full-time,” with overtime and weekend work expected. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, be willing to learn about the sector, and work in accordance with corporate and industry safety requirements. These opportunities are ideal for applicants who want to obtain hands-on experience with mobile construction equipment.
- Responsible for ensuring that all necessary tools are loaded into the appropriate trucks and ready to go for the day ahead.
- Assist the concrete curb operator, concrete finisher, and foreman so that they can focus on their responsibilities.
- Help to keep all of the equipment fueled, loaded, and clean.
- Work in a fast-paced setting is required.
