Job Description
A product designer is a professional who works on the design and development of new products. They are involved in the full product design process, from concept through prototype to final production. A product designer’s role is critical in ensuring that products are visually appealing, functional, and user-friendly, as well as meeting the needs of the target market. You will be responsible for building user flows, customer journey maps, wire frames, mock ups, and prototypes based on user research and feedback. Responsible for the entire functionality of items on qatarairways.com and the Qatar Airways mobile app, delivering a smooth, frictionless user experience and iterating on designs based on user testing.
- Create wire frames, user stories, user journeys, and mock ups that are optimized for a variety of devices and interfaces.
- Identify design issues and friction spots and suggest solutions while keeping technical recommendations for front-end and back-end development in mind.
- Use a user-centered design approach to design, and create data-driven judgments on core and new features – deliver these decisions to various stakeholders as needed.
- Collaborate with the user research and testing teams to create tests to quantify the success of new developments and understand user behavior.
Job requirements

- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- 4+ years of expertise developing user flows, customer journey maps, wire frames, mockups, and prototypes based on user research and feedback.
- Experience in UX Design, Interaction Design, or Product Design is required.
- Standard UX tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Miro, Mural, and user testing tools are required.
- A work portfolio showcasing captivating design solutions for end-to-end experiences.
- Capable of working extensively with cross-functional teams.
- Outstanding written and spoken English.
