Job Description
The Lakeland District is looking for devoted and skilled candidates with cleaning and groundskeeping competencies to fill the Cabin Caretaker position at Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park in Alberta Canada.
- Friendly personality that enjoys dealing with the general public in an ensemble environment.
- Experience with point of sale machines, retail, cash handling, and/or customer service.
- Knowledge and experience with computers and software, including but not limited to Excel, Outlook, WordPress etc.
- Experience with Reserve. AlbertaParks.ca and little knowledge of Alberta Parks.
- Familiarity with campground operations, park regulations, campground etiquette, and surrounding park amenities.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
- Independent problem solving and adaptability.
- Excellent customer service skills with good English language proficiency.
Job Requirements
- High school experience.
- Janitorial and/or housekeeping experience.
- Posses Valid Class 5 Driver’s License Valid Driver’s Abstract.
- Registered or Valid First Aid/CPR-C certification.
- Good or Valid Criminal Record Check.
- Ready to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
- The ability to anticipate, evaluate, and quickly respond to shifting priorities while being resilient in the face of uncertainty and working effectively in dynamic circumstances.
