- Responsible for maintaining the order and cleanliness of the guest rooms, dorms, and laundry facilities.
- To uphold a sense of privacy, dignity, independence, and fulfillment for all clients, everyone is treated with respect and encouraged to participate in all tasks.
- Keep the premises clean and organized.
- Take care of guest rooms, bathrooms, laundry areas, and dorms.
- Improves and clean light fixtures, ceilings and vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows and window coverings, floors, and carpets.
- Purifies by dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping and replenishes supplies.
- organizes laundry merchandise by label and loads the washing machines with bedding.
- Includes detergent and cleaning components to the washer according to the SIMDUT.
- Put wet items in the dryer for the specified time cycle.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment/materials are kept in a safe condition.
- Maintenance gets informed whenever an item or piece of equipment needs to be repaired.
- Assure that the manager is aware of the ordering needs for his or her department.
- Wears adequate PPE as per Sodexo rules.
- At all times, maintain amicable contact with clients while respecting their right to choice, dignity, privacy, and anonymity.
- Participation at staff meetings and also participation in training activities.
- Handles furniture according to the health and safety training, and replace sheets and refill diffusers.
Job Requirements
- One year of related experience, competency with tools and equipment, and the ability to withstand the physical demands of the job.
- Excellent customer service abilities, as well as a willingness to go beyond and above, are required.
