The university promotes women’s rights in higher education. It was the second university to accept women on equal terms with males. But women studied with men from the session openings in 1876. AUU Scholarships
Undergraduate and postgraduate students can apply for scholarships at the university. Potential students can apply for these scholarships financed by industry and non-profit groups. Also, postgraduate research scholarships and travel grants are available for these applications. Scholarships are available for undergraduate or postgraduate studies. We must not, however, disregard scholarships offered by groups outside AUU.

- First, students from Australia and New Zealand are welcome to apply.
- Undergraduate programs in any of the University of Adelaide’s faculties are eligible.

The awards are one-time payments that range from $200 to $500. However, this depends on the number of applicants and the funds available.
How to Apply for Equal Access Grants

- Academic transcripts and graduation certificates are necessary for all school and postsecondary studies.
- Also, as a requirement for entry, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from an approved institution.
