Job Description
The Production Team is looking for a driven, detail-oriented individual to join the team. This role will alternate between their Turning, Layoff, Tagging, and Finishing stations to provide a seamless production flow and to assist in the manufacturing of Made-In-Canada Watson gloves and accessories. You will contribute your optimistic attitude and strong teamwork skills to guarantee that day to day manufacturing runs smoothly, accurately, efficiently and all while providing great customer service. This role will contribute to Watson Gloves’ overall corporate objective of improving the glove business via innovative and sustainable protection by safeguarding their employees, customers, and the environment in which they live. At Watson Gloves, they do all of this in a light hearted manner.
- Changing gloves
- Putting snaps on gloves
- Gluing with Alycore
- Aprons for finishing
- Removing ironing gloves
- Tags being clipped
- QC in general
- Prepare the product for shipment.
- Cleaning in general
- Work in Progress Transfer
- Help with cycle counts
- As needed, cross-training in other areas.
Job Requirements
- A keen eye for detail is necessary.
- Ability to stand for the whole of a shift
