A JJWBGSP scholarship offers:

Eligibility

People who apply for a job must meet the following requirements:

  • First, be a citizen of a country member of the World Bank.
  • You must not be a citizen of any developed country simultaneously.
  • Also, you must be healthy.
  • As of the application deadline, you must have a Bachelor’s degree earned at least three years before that date.
  • After getting a Bachelor’s degree, you should have worked in development-related jobs for at least three years.
  • When you apply for the scholarship, you must be working in a paid full-time development job. Have at least three years of paid development-related work since getting a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent university degree.
  • Be accepted to at least one of the JJ/WBGSP-participating master’s programs outside of the applicant’s home and home country when the call for scholarship applications opens. You must upload the letter of acceptance before applying for a job.
  • If you want to apply to be a member of the World Bank Group, you can’t be an Executive Director, their alternate, or staff of any job with the World Bank Group. You can’t be a close relative by blood or adoption of any of the above people.

Application Method

To be eligible for a JJ/WBGSP scholarship, you must first apply and be accepted into at least one of the Participating Programs and then apply for one. In your application, you need to send in a letter of acceptance from a master’s degree program that is participating. As soon as the scholarship starts, applications are made on the internet. There are two application windows, depending on which program you want to apply to:

Window #1
January 17, 2022, at noon Washington time to February 28, 2022, at noon Washington time. JJWBGSP Participating Programs are taking applications under this window.

Application Window #2
From March 29 to May 27, 2022, at noon Washington time.
The JJWBGSP Participating Programs are taking applications during Window #2.
