The Princeton Lumber Division is looking for Production Laborers at the beginning level. We are looking for people that are committed to safety and want to work in a production plant while maintaining a pleasant attitude and an excellent work ethic.
- Must bring a commitment to safety, a cheerful attitude, and a drive to accomplish physical labor.
- Shoveling, sweeping, spark watch, equipment operation, manual handling of lumber and waste, and other entry-level labor activities may include (but are not limited to).
- Assist the supervisor in maintaining records and reporting safety issues, concerns, or hazards.
- Provide periodic relief coverage for regular operators.
- I’ll be on call to begin.
- Other tasks as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- All applicants must have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Unwavering ability and commitment to follow all safe work standards and procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Planning and organization skills that are well-developed.
- Ability to work in harsh heat/cold and manually lift.
- Must be team oriented and able to work independently as needed.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with people in a fast-paced work environment Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
