Delivery helper jobs at Gordon Food Service typically involve assisting the driver with the delivery of products to customers. This may include loading and unloading products, navigating delivery routes, and providing excellent customer service.
- $19.76 per hour of pay
- After 40 hours per week, overtime is paid at time and a half.
- 4-5 days a week, 3-5 AM start time, 10-12 hour shifts are the standard.
- Contract: May 2023 through Labor Day, with an extend possibility throughout the fall.
- Location: Milton, Ontario
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering outstanding service to create and preserve strong customer relationships
- Using ramps and occasionally stairs to manually sort and unload food products before hand-wheeling them into consumer locations (around 600 to 1000 cases every shift)
- Verifying the product delivery at the client’s location and keeping track of customer invoicing
- Observing safe work practices and health and safety regulations

Job Requirements
To be eligible for a delivery helper job at Gordon Food Service in Canada, you will need to meet certain requirements, such as having a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. You may also need to be physically fit, as the job may involve lifting heavy objects.
