Job Description
Each member of the warehouse’s staff contributes significantly to operations. They are in charge of efficiently preparing and delivering orders to the clients on time, as well as contributing to the cleanliness within the warehouse and managing inventory.
- Transporting materials to and from customer sites and other local destinations.
- Obtain the relevant shipping papers for the specified route.
- Load supplies and orders into trucks while sticking to a sometimes tight delivery timetable.
- Consolidate products and skids to maximize trailer space, then load cargo using a forklift or pump truck.
- Strap and/or fasten the material to prevent damage or breakage during shipment.
- Deliver orders to customers’ facilities, construction sites, other branches, or warehouses utilizing the most efficient or allocated itinerary.
- Unload merchandise in accordance with the destination’s guidelines.
- Responsible for collecting a signature of acknowledgment of delivery.
- Warehouse tasks as needed.

Job Requirements
- G license is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required. (No traffic tickets, points, or “at-fault” accidents in the last three years).
- Excellent client service and communication abilities.
- Must be dependable and trustworthy, as well as eager to take initiative.
- Capable of regularly lifting up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Forklift certification or the capacity to become qualified.
- Certification in WHMIS and TDG would be advantageous.
- Certification for Dangerous Goods Transportation is seen as an asset.
